Window Glass Repair is not impossibly difficult, but does require that you measure accurately.  In fact, that is probably the greatest risk of do it yourself glass repair.  So many times the window frame is not quite square and you don't measure exactly right.  Then, the guy at the glass place may be off a little.  You are measuing to a sixteenth of an inch so there isn't much room for a mistake.

I have had some experience measuring mobile home windows and the rule of thumb there is that if two panes are broken it probably won't cost much more to replace the entire window.  The new window won't cost a lot more than the glass, your labor expense will be less, and there is less risk of a mistake.
